David Lynch, hailing from the vibrant city of London, England, is a multifaceted professional whose diverse skill set spans the realms of rehabilitation, dance instruction, and holistic well-being. Currently serving as an Exercise Facilitator for the NHS, David's commitment to enhancing the lives of others extends beyond the conventional.
With over 25 years of experience, David has established himself as a seasoned and passionate dance educator, specialising in ballroom and Latin dance. He has also taught on cruise ships for over ten years. His global journey as a Professional Salsa Dance Teacher has taken him to various corners of the world where he shares his love for dance and imparts his extensive knowledge to eager learners. Together with his dance partner, they co-direct The Lynch International School of Dance, an institution that reflects their dedication to the art of dance and its transformative power.
In addition to his prowess on the dance floor, David wears many hats – a qualified fitness instructor, Children's Athletics Coach, and a skilled practitioner in Seated Acupressure Chair Massage. This eclectic combination of skills allows him to connect with people on different levels, promoting physical and mental well-being, but also a holistic approach to health.
David's interests extend beyond his professional pursuits, encompassing a love for dance, physical training, art, chess, music, cinema and travel. His holistic approach to life is mirrored in his commitment to promoting skills for lifelong learning and independent living whether he's working with patients, parents, carers, or fellow professionals.
David is pleased to be part of the Gulf Team because although he has travelled all over the world, he has never been to Africa. He sees this as a wonderful opportunity to learn about the culture and spread the love of dance as he contributes to a positive experience for others.
David Lynch stands as a testament to the enriching possibilities that arise from a diverse skill set and a genuine passion for uplifting others. His journey is a reflection of a life dedicated to promoting joy, wellness, creativity, and the love of life through breathing, posture and movement.
