The Kai Youth symposium took place on 6 Jan at  Alliance Francaise on Kairaaba Avenue
Under the mentorship of MusuKando Creative Possibilities, the K.A.I. Youth Group organised a one day youth symposium. 50 youth attended.

​Some of the feedback received from participants included:

"KAI Youth should organise more workshops like this to empower youth and girls"
 
"I will recommend KAI Youth to be organising more powerful and inspirational conferences like this one"
 
"I learn a lot from this workshop and I wish this is a continuation for the Gambian youth to learn how to develop"

About K.A.I.
K.A.I. started as a radio programme that  inspires many listeners in The Gambia and beyond. K.A.I. (Knowledge Awareness Inspiration) continues to be  a popular radio show on Paradise FM. K.A.I. is also Wolof  for 'come’ K.A.I is about working with the community to actively seek improvements in well being. 
K.A.I. YOUTH FOR TRANSFORMATION began as a result of young people tuning into the programme weekly. Being a part of K.A.I. YOUTH in itself is about transformation as all members are encouraged to create projects and execute the various tasks and skills necessary, which they place in their life-toolbox.
